Automatic Windings recently expanded and moved to new, larger factory, to meet the increasing demand for our services. We specialize in the manufacture of wire wound components within the ferrite range including Toroids, Ecore assemblies, RM assemblies etc. We also manufacture other types of coils including many custom designed assemblies, Mag Amp assemblies, low volume bonded or self supporting coils and laminated transformers.

Over last two years we have acquired athree thousand square foot factory and additional automatic machinery to ensure our continued growth .

We employ 19 operators, one supervisor, one office manager and two Directors .
Capacity
Our delivery works schedule shows that we can produce more than 30,000 coils each month, with orders ranging from one off batches of between 25 and 200 pieces to annual quantities of between 3,000 and 20,000 pieces.

Design
By retaining a close working relationship with our customers design Engineers, we can provide solutions from the initial design work through to sampling and production, that best fits the criteria demanded by engineering and purchasing departments.
Equipment
Our equipment enables us to produce High and low volume production of wire wound components. To do this we have three fully automatic winding machines, all of which can run in conjunction with our automated soldering machine. For lower volume, more complex, or more varied windings including foil wound coils, we have a variety of bench winding machines able to cope with wire gauges between 0.05 mm and 1.6 mm diameters.
For producing Toroidal windings we have a number of shuttle winding and hook winding machines able to cope with internal diameters ranging from 3mm to 80mm, pulling wire gages up to 1.6mm diameter.
Our range of test equipment includes, inductance bridges, an inductance analyser, hi-pot flash tester, insulation testers etc all of which are NAMAS calibrated annually.
